The following quote from Katie Joy is long and confusing, but basically she is insinuating that Jim Bob Duggar got a hold of her phone number and used it to send a false "I'm interested in buying a car from you" message to a car dealership in Arkansas, using the Kelly Blue Book website.
"I spoke to someone who knows the Duggars, and basically what they told me is that when the Duggars get cornered, they will frequently start smearing the people that are reporting the truth about them and they do it in a variety of ways, and they...the person told me that Josh Duggar has admitted to them of using burner phones and having ways to mask their phone number so that they don't appear a certain way, so I'm not saying this is them but the tactics are very consistent with how they behave because, um, someone who knows them said that...this is what they said. They're not going to answer your accusations. They're going to try to put the ball in your court and say that you need to focus on your problems, Katie. They're going to start calling me a bully. They're going to start going after my credibility. She said, and they said, that's what they're doing. This person says that it's happened to them and their family for years by them, especially when they stood up to the Duggars. Um, so they said what I'm guessing is how they're trying to marginalize you is by saying that you're a lost person who needs God and that is what ungodly people, and what I'm doing is what ungodly people do. And that would be a talking point that either, that they would use against me. To take the focus off of their behavior. So instead of addressing what's been reported, they're going to start basically stating that I'm the problem. So, my question here with them is that 1, only a few people have my phone number and remember I told you guys that certain people might have been on a family plan with Jim Bob, meaning that he could have had access to phone numbers, so if certain people are on a phone plan, they can pull those records to get my phone number and it's a Minneapolis number."
